Prenatal yoga prepares the body and mind for childbirth and provides greater well-being during pregnancy, both for yourself and for the baby you are expecting.

No previous experience is required, beginners and advanced practitioners are welcome!

You can join the course at any time during your pregnancy, but it is best to start in the 4th to 6th month. During the first few months of pregnancy it is also possible to attend our regular yoga classes.

Combined course - online or in person

You can attend this course online via Zoom, or in person at Håå Retreat Center.

Info for physical participants

The course will take place at Hå Lilla Ekebacken, about 500m from Håå Retreat Center.

You will not be visible on camera when participating physically.

Bring / wear loose fitting clothes. You do not need any water bottle.

Yoga mats and blankets are available to borrow.

Do not eat any large meal 3-4 hours before the class.

For everyone's comfort, please do not use perfume or scented products.

Info for online participants

After you register, we will send you a link to the Zoom meeting via email. You will need to have Zoom installed on your computer/mobile.

Set up a space where you can do yoga undisturbed. You will need a soft surface ( like a yoga mat or a thin mattress on the floor), a thin blanket for relaxation and possibly a firm cushion for meditation.

It is helpful if you can darken the room during relaxation and some of the meditations.

You can choose if you want to have your camera on or off. But to get the best experience we recommend keeping the camera on.

Remember to charge/plug in your device.

Do not eat any large meal 3-4 hours before the class.

Terms of payment

Discounts

If you choose the discount price, we ask you to send some form of documentation before the course showing that you are eligible for this.
This can be, for example a certificate from the Public Employment Service or a scanned copy of your student card.

Changes to the schedule

We reserve the right to cancel and change the dates of a course.

Cancellation policy

We only accept cancellations by email.
Cancellations received more than 7 days before the start date will be refunded 75% of the full amount.
For cancellations later than 7 days before the start date, no refund is made.

Mariana Elvang

Mariana Elvang

Mariana is originally from Black Sea in Romania. She has lived in Denmark where she in 2003 met Swami Janakananda during a Satsang. This made a strong impression on her and over the next few years she participated in several retreats in Håå. After living for a while in the ashram in Copenhagen, she decided to join the yoga teacher education in Håå.
